Hi, I’m McKayla Nevers, a photographer and videographer from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Growing up in a place that sits between fast-paced and slow-living taught me how to notice what others might miss. The quiet moments, the in-between frames, the perspectives that don’t always demand attention but deserve it. My creative journey began in music, studying production and engineering, where I learned how to build emotion through sound. That same mindset now carries into my visual work, where timing, feeling, and storytelling all intersect. My work lives at the intersection of both, capturing moments that feel as intentional as they are real.

I’m drawn to real moments and stories that feel genuine—especially where brands and community intersect. I work with a variety of brands, intentionally avoiding being boxed into a single niche. For me, staying creatively open allows each project to be approached with a fresh perspective. My process is rooted in understanding the full picture: what a client is trying to build, what hasn’t worked, and where there’s room to grow. From there, I focus on creating work that feels intentional, aligned, and built to elevate how they’re seen.

I believe the best work is built through collaboration. I’m not a one-stop shop, and that’s intentional—I value bringing the right people together to create something stronger than any one perspective. On set, I keep things laid-back and flexible. The goal is always to create an environment that feels natural, open, and creatively driven, where ideas can flow and evolve. When people feel comfortable, the work reflects it.

Lets make moments into memories.
